.NET Domain Name Registrations
When the .NET universal top-level domain was initially launched in 1985, together with the first domain extensions on the World Wide Web, it was supposed to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure establishments. As there were no particular conditions about the usage of the TLD, though, dot NET domains were registered and used for various purposes and by loads of people. This extension is a great alternative to .COM, notably if the necessary domain with the latter domain extension is not free for registration.
Securing a .NET domain name with our company is as easy as ABC and takes only a couple of minutes, taking into account that we partner with an ICANN-accredited registrar company. You can secure such a domain for a time interval between one and ten years, or, if you already have a domain, you can transfer it to our company and we will renew it when the transfer process is done. Transfers are available for all domain names, which are at least sixty days old, given that they are unlocked and that you have an EPP transfer code – security measures introduced by the Registry organization to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily modify the WHOIS contact info of the domain through your Control Panel, or, if you don't wish this information to be visible at all, you can add a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to check your true contact info.
The .NET top-level domain supports internationalized names, so you can take a decision if you want to aim at a specific country or territory using a domain name in the local language, or the global Internet community – using a generic English name.
.NET Domain Management with SW WebHosting
The Domain Manager interface is a crucial part of our Web Hosting Control Panel. As such, it's designed to be simple and user-friendly for both webmasters and hosting novices. It gives you a full range of domain controls, meaning that you will get full control over your domain name's DNS and WHOIS settings. What's more, it helps you to control numerous domain names from the very same place with ease - you're not limited to one domain name per Control Panel.
And, for those who have a hosting account here, it is possible to perform both site administration and domain administration tasks. You won't need to log into other Control Panels or switch interfaces.
