A: The web site migration service provided by SW WebHosting is absolutely free and involves moving all your files, databases and emails from your present hosting provider to your brand new hosting account with us. We will also revise all the settings required for your sites to be fully operational on our advanced cloud hosting platform.Our techs are completely capable of moving just about any website. With years of work experience in this field, they’re well–versed in the specificities of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other commonly used Control Panels. For them, moving a custom–built application with numerous custom libraries is as elementary as transferring a simple WordPress weblog.

A: While we cannot give you a precise ETA, because there are many variables, including the size of the web files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your website and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will give our best to move your site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (if the website content is not very large).

A: Yep. We’ll require the name of the web site that you wish us to transfer. We will also require a way to log in to your old hosting account so that we can get the files pertaining to your website.

A: While we move your website content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the migration at all. We will never contact them in any way.

A: Yup. We support all regular Linux–driven hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–driven web hosting platforms, as we don’t offer Windows hosting solutions ourselves.Additionally, we don’t support proprietary web site creation and management interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
